Catriona Thomson

Catriona Thomson participates in Project Ability’s Connect programme and creates drawings and collages inspired by pop art and mass culture including recollections of her background and the music, people, fashion, television and culture that shaped her own personal history.

Thomson has developed a stylised technique of combining imagery from recognisable, kitsch elements and using commonplace cultural objects as a means of construction and storytelling.
