David McCracken

David McCracken was born in Glasgow in 1969.
He is an accomplished wood worker and ceramicist who has been attending Project Ability’s ReConnect Studios for over twenty years. Recently he has been focusing on working with clay, and these small ceramic buildings are some of David’s most recent work. They take inspiration from the much loved Scottish Comic Strip The Broons, and their small cottage in the highlands called But ‘n Ben. Each one has been beautifully hand crafted with skill and delicacy.

This collection of David's work is currently on show at the Red Door Gallery in Edinburgh.
