James Smith

As a boy James Smith's dad used to take him on visits to industrial sites. Working in Glasgow’s shipyard, his father had a keen interest and in-depth knowledge of the functional landscape. This interest has been handed down from father to son. Much of James’s work explores his fascination with the forgotten industrial landscape drawing on both his memories and his imagination.
