Euan Stewart wins Enquire art competition
We entered a few artworks from young artists who attend our Create visual arts classes into the Enquire (Children in Scotland) art competition, and Euan Stewart won!
Euan’s name was picked out of a hat which had the names of all the other young artists who entered the competition. His prize is a signed copy of Jacqueline Wilson's book The Worry Website, with a talking book cd too.
You can see the artworks here.
Amy Westendarp, of Enquire, said about all the young artists: "Please thank them and tell them we would love them to send us more art, we thought it was all a very high standard."
Enquire is Scotland's dedicated service giving advice on children's right to get extra help at school.
Enquire has a great online gallery called 'Your Views', where they regularly show some photos of our workshops and of artworks by Project Ability young artists, so don't hesitate to send them some photos!

The Christmas Pound Appeal

Project Ability has launched a Christmas Pounds Appeal!
Please, don’t buy us presents or send us Christmas cards; no chocolates, cakes, biscuits or bottles of wine! Just give us the money!!
We want your PENNIES and POUNDS!
Our target is one thousand POUNDS.
It costs £500 to design and print an exhibition card, send out the invites and organise a preview evening.
£1000 buys a 10 week project for people with mental health issues and learning disabilities.
£1500 buys a 10 week project for children and young people.
A £5 donation rather than 5lbs of chocolate will help us to raise much needed funds...
Click here if you wish to donate to our Christmas Pound Appeal.
Many thanks to you all!
