Artwork of the week- ‘Let Go’ by Andrew Kelly

Artwork of the week- ‘Let Go’ by Andrew Kelly

This week we feature a still shot from Andrew Kelly’s short film ‘Let Go’. This film is one of four exquisite performances produced and directed by Ray Jacobs from Arty Party. Andrew Kelly is one of four artists selected to take part in a residency, workshop and touring exhibition programme titled, ‘Four Solos in the Wild’. Consisting of photographs and films, this work is on exhibition in our gallery until November 26th and has been touring the country since July 2016. The artists, Andrew Kelly, Graham Busby, Erika Juniper and Mervyn Bradley, worked intensively over a two week period in the woodlands of Pembrokeshire to orchestrate and tell stories through expressive dance and movement. The result is a hauntingly beautiful selection of imagery- both still and moving- saturated with the lush green forest colours and shown in the highest quality of production.
