Outing in Pittenweem

Last week, a group of us went on a day out to a picture-perfect little place – the Pittenweem Arts Festival in the East Neuk of Fife.
The festival itself was a delightful celebration of the area crammed with art in every nook, on every wall, spanning churches and nestling in quaint living rooms. Project Ability artist Pum Dunbar was part of the invited programme for the festival and seeing the work from The Theatre of the Self in a domestic setting and a different context from Project Ability Gallery was very interesting.
Adding to our merriment was the sunshine, blue skies, fish and chips al fresco and the curious spectacle of a focused landscape painting tutorial taking place on the beach.
