Photography workshops with Neil Ramsay

For the last couple of weeks, a few Connect artists have been learning the basics of photography with volunteer Neil Ramsay.
Neil's approach is one of simplicity: the artists are learning without having to use expensive or specialist equipment. For these workshops, fancy lighting is not necessary, the aspiring photographers can create beautiful pictures with available light.
Exposure, composition, portraits, landscapes or still life images, the workshops are varied and cover all bases. Participants also have the opportunity to use their own cameras and Project Ability's or Neil's SLR, and to learn how to upload and enhance digital photographs on a computer.
Last week, the group went to the Necropolis, and judging by Martin Sumner's photos, they had a great time!
