Screenprinting workshops
Eight artists from our Connect programme were invited to take part in a screenprinting workshop, tutored by John Fitzpatrick.
For some of them, it was the first time they explored screenprinting. They tried their hand at different techniques, like multiple colours, duotone or tritone. Each workshop was over a full week (with four people per workshop), during which the artists developed their ideas, explored the techniques and then proceeded to the actual screenprinting.
The results are beautiful, with elements of portraiture, landscape and a few abstract works. They can be seen in our current show Press to Paper, running until 23 December.
