Walking group - Week 17

The Dick Institute in Kilmarnock might not be the first place you would expect to see paintings by artist Gerhard Richter, but there is currently an exhibition of his work in this fine historic building. It was also the location for the latest walking group trip last Wednesday.

After a look round the exhibition the group explored other areas of the building which also includes a library and museums of natural history and local and social history.

It was a beautiful sunny day so the group then had a short walk into the town centre before getting the bus back to Glasgow.

The Richter exhibition continues until 6 December. For more information click here.  More photos on our Facebook
