    Journeys

    31  March - 30 June 2006

Journeys is an exhibition based on the theme of ‘transport'.  The exhibition was created by artists with learning difficulties from Dumfries,  Fife, Glasgow, Inverness and Thurso.

The work in the exhibition was inspired by the NMS transport collections, visits to local transport museums and a road haulage depot.  The exhibition was first displayed at the Royal Museum in Edinburgh in November 2005.

We are delighted that Glasgow Museums was able to host Journeys which includes work inspired by the collections in the Museum of Transport.   Journeys is a partnership project between The National Museums of Scotland and Project Ability.
