Two of our artists, Tommy Kemp and Grace McArthur are part of Heart and Sold, a group exhibition showcasing works by artists with Down Syndrome. Both artists showed work in previous Heart and Sold exhibitions in London and New York in 2015, and are now back with new work in this new show taking place in Salford.
“Heart & Sold brings you a new exciting exhibition, fresh from its American launch in NYC. With its longest run at the prestigious Salford Museum & Art Gallery, experience the latest collection from established and developing artists that happen to have Down syndrome.
With an eclectic mix of artwork from painting to photography to line drawing, witness how this condition can showcase unique perspectives and original insights.”
There will be two pop up workshops during the exhibition, on the 12th March and 2nd April, 1pm-3pm.
