The inaugral, Impact Art Fair profiles work from International artists loosely described as ‘marginalised’ or ‘outsider’.
‘Marginalised’ artists include those who use mental health services, who have physical disabilities or learning difficulties, who have experience of homelessness or substance mis-use, who are refugees, long-term unemployed, offenders or ex-offenders. All the artists are highly talented practitioners with unique world views, producing works that provoke, stimulate and satisfy in equal measure.
Celine McIlmunn, Connect Programme Manager, will bring a selection of new works to the fair for the Project Ability stand (generously sponsored by L-13 Light Industrial Workshop).
The artists presented are: Doreen Kay, Margaret Booth, Ralph Douglas, Robert Reddick, Pum Dunbar, Edward Henry, Simon McAuley, Willie Docherty, Tracy Thompson and John Beaton.
Opening Times: 20-22 May, 11am – 6pm
Venue: Candid Arts Trust, 3 Torrens Street, London, EC1V 1NQ
