At the center of the Lennox Castle Stories project are a group of ex-patients who have, over the last ten months, come together at Project Ability in a series of weekly workshops to share their “stories” and express themselves through employing a range of creative processes. The project, a partnership between the social care organisations C-Change and Project Ability, has been funded by The Heritage Lottery and coincides with the 10thanniversary of the closure of Lennox Castle Hospital. An exhibition of some of these works and an introduction to the website created from the project will be shown in the Trongate 103 foyer exhibition space.
Exhibition: 22-27 October
Opening preview: Tuesday 22 October 10-11am
Opening hours: Tuesday-Saturday 10am-5pm
Everyone at C-Change and Project Ability would like to thank all the contributors for their enthusiasm, good humour and commitment to this important body of work.
