A group exhibition created by a range of forensic mental health service users from across medium, low and community services in NHS GGC. A year-long collaborative project between Project Ability and Forensic Occupational Therapy, the sessions have provided the group with the opportunity to explore and develop their creativity within an art studio environment supported by expert art tutors.
The artwork has been made in a series of four, ten week block workshops by different participants and members of the support staff with some becoming regular attendees. This group value the importance of an encouraging working environment, strengthening relationships and having the freedom to explore innovative methods and a wide range of subjects through their art. Over the course of the year, they have discovered talents, developed techniques, new found interests and friendships with this group of diverse personalities and interests respected in the variety and vibrancy of the work.
