Project Ability is pleased to present Pet Portraits, the culminating result of our recent call out for pet pictures which were then chosen by Project Ability artists and have been combined to create a celebratory, programme-wide exhibition.
On show will be everything from dogs and cats to chickens and goldfish and will display work from Aspire, Create and ReConnect. The pet portrait genre is a long-standing tradition and it is still as desirable as ever to have covetable impressions of our dearest pets showing the great importance that animals have in our lives. We have taken this tradition and transformed it by the distinctive vision and diverse styles of Project Ability’s artists.
Exhibiting artists are Judith Abubaker, Katy Barton, Margaret Booth, Julie Boyce, Nathan Bray, James Bryson, Ann Campbell, Robert Clyde, John Cocozza, Holly Costley, Greg Coultas, Robert Cornish, Eileen Davie, Daniel Dillon, Gerard Deighan, Ian Doak, Fiona Donald, James Douglas, Gemma Dunn, Gerard Gallacher, Jemma Gilchrist, Nazmyie Gokduman, Peter Gorman, Rachel Hook, Pauline Jackson, Peter Johnston, Doreen Kay, Terry Kerr, James Lawson, Mhairi MacDonald, Tommy Mason, Kerr Matheson, Robert McCamley, John McCormack, Malcolm McIntyre, Jonathan McKinstry, John McLean, Jack McNaught, John McNaught, Cameron Morgan, Margaret Muir, Tom Muir, Ruth Mutch, Walter Neilson, Christopher Newman, Lesley Nimmo, Sandra Ormiston, Fiona Patience, Steven Reilly, Hayleigh Reynolds, Lewis Scott, Amna Sharif, Martin Sloss, Scott Smith, Linda Tulloch, Dominic Hemphill Whyte and Rehan Yousef.
