The Nature of Ideas

‘The Nature of Ideas’ is a curated exhibition of works by artists from Project Ability’s Reconnect workshop. It is Project Ability’s contribution to this year’s Scottish Mental Health Arts Festival. Reconnect is Project Ability’s studio programme for artists with lived experience of mental ill health. During Lockdown many of the Reconnect artists have been working on their own, although technology has enabled them to support one another.

Facilitated by artist and Project Ability tutor Celine Mcilmunn, this exhibition presents many different ideas about nature. Showcasing a wonderful variety of mediums and thought processes, ‘The Nature of Ideas’ is an eclectic exhibition of work presented as an online exhibition. We are always pleased to be part of SMHAF and this year more than usual we need to pay extra attention to our well being and mental health. Enjoy the exhibition and be sure to check out the rest of the festival!
