Young Talent 2012

Our annual Young Talent exhibition is back!

Young Talent is an annual showcase of the artwork created by children and young people from Project Ability’s Create programme. Now in its 12th year, this celebratory exhibition brings together a diverse assortment of painting, drawing, printmaking, ceramics, banners & action figurines. Young Talent offers Project Ability’s young artists the chance to exercise and display their creative ideas by experimenting with multi-layered artistic practices and methods. These investigations amass each year to produce a distinctive collective display which punctuate the year with a colourful playground of artwork of different techniques and visions, full of innovation and adventure.
Project Ability’s Create programme engages with children and young people with disabilities in a wide range of creative activities including visual arts, film and new media. The programme includes evening and weekend workshops, one-off projects, events, film screenings and exhibitions. All of our activities are tailored to the individuals we work with and are fully inclusive. The professional artists who deliver the programme are highly experienced in working with young people with a wide range of support needs. We work with individuals, families, schools, voluntary sector groups and other arts organisations with a target age group of 5 – 25 years.
