Ready primed canvases for painting.

"I was simply priming a bit of board for a landscape picture for my gallery" Stephen

"The problems started when we could not stick them on. No glue would be comfortable or resistant to washing. Heather suggested using the sewing machine to embroider them on but I was not sure as I have never used that before. Hand stitching became out of the question very quickly so I had no choice but to at least try the sewing machine. Im very glad I did!! It was suprisingly easy to use once I got used to it! The design from then on became very easy to transfer to the vest. This sessionI had it finished, and I even modeled it for the website! I had a lot of fun and learned quite a lot from my vest project and im already on a new version. This time the vest is a cut up black tee shirt, but the red heart and arteries remain as the stars of the show!!" Raz

Liam's latest cult figure is Jim Morrison from 'The Doors'. Well this is liam hear reporting live from the soapbox seriously though, Jim was the simpilest image I had to create as when the picture printed his eye wasn't very clear so it was blackened out and his right eye was emphasised so it stood out clearer so to next time folks bye.

Sean and Liam work in progress.

This new work is about Bob Marley. There are two different poses that Sean has in mind to make.

"I finally finished this painting which I started some time ago. The only reason I did'nt finish this painting some time is I like to have a few things on the go at the same time so I don't get bored. I took the image from my sketch book that I had done some time ago but I just didn't now what else I wanted to do to it so Heather said that I could put it on canvis and paint it because there was no colour in the sketch book image."

Today a group went to Edinburgh to look at the Louise Bourgeois exhibtion in the Fruitmarket Gallery in Edinburgh.

"I went to see the Bourgeois exhibition and I thought i was great and unusual because I've never seen anything like the things that she made and some of the faces where so called freekay but I thought they expressed anger and fear which is a hard thing to express without being violent which I think and feel is pointless when you can express in other ways and that is why I loved this exhibition." Stephen

"I thought it was a good exhibtion the spiders were good to see it was a little weird but the other one was just alright." Laura Jane
