The 'Big Move' Appeal
Project Ability is moving. We need your help to fit out our new home.
In 2009, with eight other arts organisations, we are moving into Trongate 103, a purpose-built arts centre just around the corner from our current base.

Why we need to raise money
This is a really exciting project, but the costs are huge. Although Glasgow City Council is converting the building, we have to equip and furnish our new gallery, studios, workshops, offices and reception.
We cannot afford to do this by ourselves … we need help to raise new money for the move – up to £140,000 to cover the expenses of flitting and for high-standard equipment.
Can you help us reach our target?
We are approaching relevant trusts and foundations to contribute to the costs but we will need to raise around £30,000 from individual donors.
Please donate to Project Ability's Big Move appeal and help us create a specially adapted studio for artists with disabilities. Your gift will really make a difference – without it we will not be able to buy the equipment we need.
By donating now you will be benefiting the community for many years to come. Any size of donation is welcome. Quite small sums can add up to buy one item on the shopping list. For example:
£25 - a table for a studio space
£60 - an easel for the workshop
£100 - a portable loop system for our hearing impaired participants and visitors.
£1000 will equip the entire stained glass studio.
