On the 1st of June a group of older men got together at Project Ability to explore images of Glasgow through drawing and painting. The end result was that the work created would be made into a book.

There were four participants who attended the group. Each had expressed an interest and knowledge of the images along with sharing their experiences of where they had lived.

The books were put together in a concertina style. This allowed the participants to work on a series of small sketches and paintings, which were then folded to form the pages of the book.

The group produced fantastic representations of some of Glasgow’s famous landmarks.
