We have received funding from First Light to make four films from existing scripts created by young people at Project Ability.

The young filmmakers will work as a team in order to develop and create four, 5 – 10min films. They will work with scripts produced by young people from Project Ability during a scriptwriting course which was held in Easter 2009.

The four sessions in June focus on pre-production, planning and development and take place on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, 6pm-8pm.

In July, each group will take part in an intensive week of production (5th – 9th and 12th – 16th), from 10am to 3pm, Monday to Friday.

In August and September, there will be six sessions of post production / marketing on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, 6pm-8pm.

The project culminates in a premier of the films in October 2010, which will be organised by the group.
