Gallery Education Workshops for Play Schemes

We are delivering a summer project in partnership with five playschemes for disabled young people inspired by a photographic exhibition ('One Life') in Project Ability's galleries which features work by people with learning disabilities.

Each playscheme will have the opportunity to visit the exhibition and participate in a workshop, in Project Ability's accessible studio spaces. This will be followed up by three workshops at their premises.

The workshops last for 1 ½ to 2 hours and will be run by two professional artists and will be designed to cater to the individual needs of each group. They will use photography and other mediums to develop art work around ideas of 'self image'.

For more information or if you are interested in being a partner playscheme email Alex: cyp@project-ability.co.uk
