The benefits

Project Ability is uniquely recognised as a leading visual arts organisation and a disability and mental health charity. We offer engagement with visual arts and access to a contemporary new art centre in Glasgow city’s new visual arts hub, Trongate 103.

Whether you are looking to make a donation or gift in-kind, sponsor an arts event or project, or seeking a long term charity partner, working together with Project Ability gives the opportunity to achieve corporate social goals; directly improve the lives of the people who are socially isolated, whilst enhancing your image in the community and amongst potential customers.

Project Ability is one of eight visual arts organisations housed in Trongate 103. Open to the public in September 2009, the new art centre is set to receive over 75,000 visitors in its first year. Trongate 103 supports world-class artists as well as offering opportunities to the wider community to participate in the arts, in an environment that values the creativity of all people.

If you think your company could help support Project Ability please contact us on 0141 552 2822 to discuss ways in which we can work together.

Winning Partnerships

The Co-operative Membership Scotland proud sponsors of Project Ability's Create film programme for children and young people.

We are delighted to announce a new corporate partnership with The Co-operative Group Scotland who are sponsoring the children and young people’s film programme.

We look forward to a mutually beneficial partnership and to continuing our work - for the third year in a row - with The Co-operative Group Scotland as joint hosts of ‘The Co-operative Young Film Makers in Scotland’.

The sponsorship is an organic development of a longstanding partnership and the continued development of the film festival, where Project Ability administers and produces the event  sharing contacts and knowledge.

Fundraise at work

Fundraising at work is directly linked to an increase in staff morale and productivity. From swear boxes, to dress down days or a skills auction, you are limited only by your imagination!

Ladbrokes staff fundraising

Ladbrokes staff chose to help raise funds towards Project Ability’s ‘big move’ appeal. Staff and customers from across Glasgow and Greater Glasgow brought some festive cheer to project Ability, raising an incredible £10,000 from fundraising activities in two months! Frank O’Neill and Karen Weir from Ladbrokes presented the cheque.

  • Thanks to David Jackson, his colleague Tommy Winters and all the staff at SGB, who donated the proceeds from a Christmas raffle and their Christmas bonus to Project Ability.
  • Margaret, Fiona, Sukhjit and Ann from French Duncan Accountants ran the Women’s 10K team in memory of Phil Oliver, a colleague and supporter of Project Ability.

Gifts in-kind

We gratefully accept gifts in kind (including equipment and materials). Please call us to discuss what you have in mind.

St Ninian’s school in East Dunbartonshire generously donated a screen print table, worth £2612.00 and the exposure unit valued at £241.00. Print making is one of the mediums in which we offer specialist workshops and the screen printing table will be put to extremely good use.
