Aspire, Connect and Create - Workshops

Weekly art classes and workshops in subjects such as woodcarving, ceramics, stained glass, film making and animation, life drawing, digital arts and printmaking.

There are three core programmes of activity:

• Create: for children and young people with disabilities
• Aspire: for adults with learning disabilities
• Connect: for adults with mental health issues

Each programme has a team of committed, professional artists who are highly experienced in supporting people with a wide range of needs.

Myscape

Saturday 23rd January - Friday 26th February

Project Ability and the Collins Gallery presents Myscape – an exhibition exploring landscape; urban, rural, internal, real and imaginary.

Reception at the Collins Gallery on Thursday 18th February 2010, 5.00 to 7.00 pm

Seminar and Gallery talk at Project Ability Trongate 103 on Friday 19th February 2010 from 10.30 – 3.00pm.

This exhibition shows new work by 20 International artists, all with their own individual experience of autism spectrum condition or Asperger syndrome, from 6 countries.  Each artist portrays a unique interpretation of the subject; whether it’s a record of the environment they live in or, the landscape of their internal imaginings.
