Our latest Artwork of the Week is John Beaton’s xoxoxoxo, from the current exhibition The World Awaits (For More Info), showing in our gallery until 26 May. John Beaton expresses himself with a radical language of brightly coloured Xs, Os, motifs and repetitions of his own name. This spectacular triptych is a combination of his exciting style and devised through bold, asymmetrical compositions which texture the creamy background of the canvas, simultaneously characterising both primitive and classical art.
