Ocean Plastic Not Fantastic
We are delighted to be exhibiting at Cass Arts in Glasgow for the very first time!
On show we have the lovely exhibition titled ‘Ocean Plastic Not Fantastic’….
Glasgow hosted COP26 at the end of last year – it was an urgent United Nations climate intervention – we worked with Stop Climate Chaos Scotland and SCLD to deliver banner making workshops across the country, from Dumfries to Shetland. Groups across the country produced eye-catching art work expressing their climate concerns.
Participants
In Shetland, our group was led by Vivian Ross-Smith. National Autistic Society, Garvald, the Tayside Health and Social Care Partnership, Gossip Collective, Sense Scotland, Dumfries and Galloway Council Youth Enquiry Service and Corseford School also had groups participate – with adults, young people and children voicing their views on the climate crisis.
One of our partners, Corseford School in Johnstone, made a plea for ocean life and a case for collective action.
Another partner, the National Autistic Society, made banners lamenting the plastic pollution in our seas and the empty promises of our politicians.
