The Project Ability team exceeded all targets last Sunday 28th of April at the Glasgow Kiltwalk
Project Ability Kiltwalk success! A massive thank you from Project Ability to everyone that has kindly donated. Together, we have raised well over £1,200, which will go towards supporting the artists in our studios and their creative development. This money will cover studio costs, such as materials and tools. We feel so lucky to have such a caring and supportive community!
This would have not been possible without our walkers, read on to see photos of the day and the reasons why they chose to support us at the Kiltwalk:
Our fundraiser Cathy, her nephew Wolfie and Friend of Project Ability Chris walked the Wee Wander in loving memory of Betty Dowling, Cathy’s grandmother, who devoted her working life to special schools.
Vikkie and Iain dedicated the Mighty Stride to their friend Richard Anderson, who recently passed, as Richard’s struggle with mental health issues was supported by Project Ability and he found peace and solace through his creativity.
