A European Art Summit – The Exhibition
We are delighted to welcome learning disabled artists and their support studios from Germany and Ireland, along with influential artists from Scotland and England’s top studios, to a three day residency.
The residency is taking place at Project Ability’s studio in Trongate 103, in the centre of Glasgow on the 17, 18 and 19th September 2019.
Throughout the residency the artists will be creating artworks which will be brought down to the gallery and built up into an exhibition in our main gallery. With so many artists from different places working together at the same time, we are very much looking forward to watching the gallery transform.
Project Ability realises the importance of artists with learning disabilities and their support studios being able to share their practice and make work together. Building friendships and making connections between artists and studios creates important networks, develops professional contacts and can open up opportunities for the artists.
Artists taking part in the residency are supported by:

KCAT Arts Centre, Ireland
