Tea Ceremony, 4 October , 1 – 2pm

Ceramic Art Work exploring Korean Culture, Heritage and Identity, through the eyes and hands of a Korean Overseas Adoptee.

Exhibiting Korean Style Tableware hand-thrown straight off the potterswheel.

ReConnect artist Yoonett (Christina Soo Ja Massey) has been working towards this exhibition of Korean Style Pottery for well over a year. Having only just taught herself how to use the potters wheel, Yoonett has embarked on an ambitious and unique venture with her ideas for this exhibition. The Project Ability gallery will be transformed through the ceramics and their furniture. The artist has had a strong and  clear vision when working towards this show, and we are very excited to see the final results.

Yoonett is Korean, and was brought up in Berlin. She is a KAD (Korean Overseas Adoptee) and this adds a unique perspective to the Korean style pottery she has spent the last several month creating.

Join us for the preview on October 3rd and tea ceremony on the 4th!
