Project Ability is a long-established and remarkable Glasgow-based charity providing professionally-led arts programmes for people of all ages and with disabilities or mental health issues to develop their talents. Under normal circumstances, we offer weekly classes for 300 participants run by our own staff and visiting artists, in addition to curating and displaying exhibitions both in our own gallery and further afield.
Project Ability aims to celebrate and provide positive opportunities for people with different lived experience and to further strengthen our Board, we now seek applications from those with expertise in any of the following: Scottish charity law; providing strategic advice to Third Sector organisations; or supporting organisations to maximise funding opportunities.
During COVID-19, we continue to engage and support our participants through various online initiatives as illustrated on: Facebook, our website and Twitter.
For more information and to apply for a voluntary role on the Board, please contact our Artistic Director Elisabeth Gibson at firstname.lastname@example.org for an application form.
Closing date for applications is 26th June 2020.
