In recognition of Stroke Awareness Month, our online shop is featuring a small collection of new work by the very talented John McNaught. These 12 portraits have all been painted during Lockdown and are made in oil on board. John McNaught found Project Ability several years ago after having a major stroke which turned his and his family’s world upside down. He found his love of painting helped in his recovery and over the years he has developed an amazing talent and skill. John McNaught, and his family, have given so much to Project Ability since then. We are delighted to present this selection of John’s work as a small way to help raise awareness about the impact strokes can have on people’s lives.
