Since September, Project Ability and the ARC (Autism Resource Centre) have been working in partnership, to provide a series of visual arts workshops for people who are on the autistic spectrum and live in Glasgow. Each week people have come together in Project Ability’s workshop to make art which explores their experience with autism. Along the way, we have provided access to a range of media and techniques and support from a team of professional artists.
The workshops carry on to the end of November and a second series of workshops will be delivered January – March 2013. Information is available from the ARC and for further details please telephone them on 0141 276 7182.
A selection of the work produced will be exhibited in the Foyer at Trongate 103 in April 2013.
