Sian Mather once again proves herself a master of ceramics with a new series of plaques depicting life along the Forth & Clyde canal. In this piece the water is richly textured and inviting, with ripples, crisp reflections and mirky shadows creating depth. The house boats and buildings along the canals edge show a quaint and charming side of urban life.
