Walking Group: CCA

On Wednesday 5th July the Walking Group visited the Centre for Contemporary Arts (CCA). We saw the stained glass exhibition ‘Lost Congregation’ by Pinkie Maclure. Running until 12th August, this large scale exhibit even features an overgrown church. The work is shown over three rooms, each darkened, with light boxes behind the glass.

‘The Soil’, features a collaboration with 3D sounds scenographer John Wills, it sets a haunting atmosphere with the overgrown branches amongst the pews. There are upcoming live events with Pinkie and John performing songs, laments and chants on 15th July and 5th August both at 5pm.
