Take on a challenge and make a difference today!
Community fundraising is a brilliant way for individuals to support Project Ability while taking on a challenge that’s personal to them. Whether it’s big, small, planned months in advance or completely spontaneous, every fundraiser helps us continue our work supporting artists with disabilities or experience of mental ill-health.
Last year, the brother of a former Project Ability participant took on the Glasgow Half Marathon in our support, raising an incredible £707.50. Funds raised through efforts like this directly support our workshops, exhibitions and the artists who make Project Ability such a vibrant creative community.
There’s no limit to how you can fundraise for us. Your challenge can be anything that motivates you, including:
-
- Running, walking or cycling a race or personal distance challenge
- Hosting a coffee morning, bake sale or quiz night
- Taking part in a sponsored creative challenge
- Celebrating a birthday or special occasion by fundraising instead of receiving gifts
- Organising a workplace fundraiser
Every project, no matter the size, makes a huge impact. As a small charity, the support of our community helps us continue to provide vital creative opportunities and inclusive spaces for artists.
If you’re thinking about fundraising for Project Ability, we’d love to support you with ideas, materials and encouragement along the way.
