Judith Abubakar has been attending Project Ability for well over 15 years. She has always loved doing art activities and the Project Ability studios offered a great opportunity with small class sizes and teachers who understands Judith’s needs. She works across a variety of mediums, including ceramics, wire work, beading, sewing, felting, painting and printing.
Having the opportunity to display her work in exhibitions and occasionally have a piece for sale in the shop has given Judith a lot of pleasure and made her feel proud of what she has been able to do. Judith finds Project Ability has been particularly beneficial for her general sense of wellbeing, as it has helped to improve her mental health and it plays a very important part in her weekly activities.
Judith has exhibited work with Project Ability on several occassions. She is especially talented with ceramics and has sold many pieces in our gallery and shop. Her creativity is infectious, and along with her positive attitude, Judith offers plenty of inspiration to other artists in the studio.
