For this week’s AoTW feature, we are very pleased to bring you a sneak preview of a work that is going to be exhibited in our next Art in the Gart exhibition; ‘Birds’ by Linda Tulloch. Linda has made this delicate drawing of flying birds; soft, neat and beautifully executed in coloured pencil. These weightless and tenacious little creatures seeming to fly and tumble across the page with the expert blurring of the pencil marks heightening the work’s visual softness.
Project Ability will be presenting work by artists from the ReConnect programme, opening on 31 January in the Art in Gart Gallery, Lower Hub, Gartnavel Royal Hospital, Great Western Road Glasgow. Exhibition continues until 31 May 2014.
