This week we carry on celebrating our wonderful textile exhibition, ‘Stitched‘! Our Artwork of the Week is this lovely embroidery of two daisies, by Louise Robertson. Louise works in Edinburgh in the Garvald studios, and is one of six Garvald artists in this exhibition. We love these delicate little flowers. They have been beautifully stitched onto raw linen and exhibited in it’s hooped tambour frame.
Most of the work in ‘Stitched‘ is available for purchase, including ‘Daisy’. You can find this artwork in our online shop. The exhibition is open until the 1st of April; come into Trongate 103 and visit the gallery!
