Our Artwork of the Week is this beautiful ceramic dragon with a celadon glaze. ‘Dragon’ was created in the Project Ability studios during a residency the artist had with us. Kwok Kin Chan lives in Edinburgh and works at the support studio Garvald.
Much of Kwok’s work is inspired by origami, and although he is registered blind he is able to use the limited sight he has, along with his sense of touch, to create beautiful artworks. We have a gorgeous drawing in our online shop that Kwok made in 2018.
He is just one of many talented artists currently showing work in our Residency Show. The exhibition is up until the 13th of July!
