Artwork of the Week comes from our current textile exhibition, Stitched!
Doreen Kay’s ‘Lorikeets’ embroidery measures 25 x 28 cm and is embroidered onto orange cloth. It sits within a black wood frame with no glass.
This gorgeous artwork sings with colour and is one of many embroidered artworks by Doreen Kay in this exhibition. Stitched will run until April 1st, and features over 45 textile artworks by ten Scottish based artists.
