Last week, over twenty Project Ability artists spent the day in Cove Park, near Loch Long, making it the biggest Walking Group to date!
We visited the place, where artists, crafts people and writers spend time in month-long residencies, far from the city noises and other distractions. Their current artist in residence also happened to be our former Exhibitions Coordinator, Lauren Printy Currie.
The group was delighted to hear her speak about her experience in Cove Park, and to walk us through the work she has done during her residency.
After lunch, some of us went for a walk, whilst others stayed in the park to sketch the amazing views.
We encountered quite a few animals on the way too, including cows, sheep, and frogs.
Cove Park is a very beautiful and inspiring place, and we promised the team that we would come back!
