The exhibition showcases texts, images and objects selected from the Lennox Castle Stories project. Lennox Castle Stories was a partnership project between Project Ability and C-Change which captured the memories of people who lived in Lennox Castle Hospital. The Hospital, once the largest hospital of its kind in the UK, closed in 2002.
Since January, this year, Project Ability has provided a creative space for ex-residents to tell their stories of what life was like in the “Castle” and their triumphs and successes since leaving. We are pleased to present an exhibition of the works created and to announce the launch of a website www.lennoxcastlestories.co.uk dedicated to the project.
