Today saw the first of our Puppet making workshops to celebrate this year’s Merchant City Festival. This busy workshop was a hive of activity, with everyone involved creating their own wonderful and wacky creatures in paper puppet form. All our participants worked very inventively using a variety of coloured cards and papers, and embellished their creations with coloured sticky back plastic, buttons, sequins and googly eyes!
Their characters were then brought to life with paper fasteners and wooden rods, helping them move and shake! The results were fantastic, as you can see. More puppet making fun will take place tomorrow Saturday 28th July.
