The newly recruited volunteers are in full swing and settling nicely into the workshop. The Create programme has 6 new volunteer artists, each bringing skills such as photography, animation and ipad technology, and a wide range of visual arts knowledge. Both the Create tutors and the young participants have enjoyed their input and we look forward to working with them all during the weeks ahead.
In addition to this, we have three new volunteers working within our Aspire programme, two supporting participants to develop their skills in printmaking, and another specialising in ceramics. These volunteers are a great support to our tutors and participants and we look forward to seeing the results of their hard work.
We also have newly recruited volunteers, who are supporting the Create film programme and a series of mental health outreach workshops due to take place very soon at Gartnavel Royal Hospital.
Finally, and not forgetting, the long standing volunteers from the Aspire programme who have given a commitment to invigilating our gallery for some time now and continue to do so!
