An army of home bakers baked a gargantuan mountain of cakes and Project Ability’s first ever Cake Sale has been a massive success.
Set up in the window overlooking the Trongate our volunteers have been selling an array of tempting treats to Trongate 103’s community of artists and passer-by’s.
Victoria Sponges, Top Hats, Potato Scones, Fairy Cakes, Muffins, Cookies, Fruit Cake and Fruit Loaves and that perennial Scottish favourite Tablet, were baked and bought and we raised £245.
A huge thank you to the bakers and we are back tomorrow with fresh supplies!
