For the last few months, the five artists who founded Art Trek – an innovative and exciting arts cooperative – have been working on a blog, with tutor Zeynep Arman. It has been a great learning curve for John Cocozza, Edward Henry, Tommy Mason, Cameron Morgan and Steven Reilly, as most of them were very unfamiliar with everything computer related!
The artists have learned how to research images and videos of subjects that inspire them, take photos of their own work, and then upload it all on their blog. Paintings, drawings, video clips of TV shows (the Bionic Woman and Star Trek are obviously all time favourites!) and random images, the blog is a sort of mood board that will let you know what the artists are interested in and what inspires them. They update it every Monday, so make sure to check it regularly!
