Walking Group visit Adrian Wiszniewski: In Full Colour and Threading Stories at Cass Art

Adrian Wiszniewski: In Full Colour at Glasgow Print Studio

Our group outings are often quite local and we really don’t need to go far to find interesting things to look at. On this occasion we started off in Glasgow Print Studios to see ‘Adrian Wiszniewski: In Full Colour’. Lucky for us the exhibition had been extended or we would have missed it.

We were welcomed into the gallery by Hannah who gave us an overview of the works and we were especially taken by the laser cut woodblock prints. We were pleased to see that the artwork information was at a good height on the wall and had a chat with Hannah about the glass topped cases that were just a little bit too high for our wheeler Ruth to see the contents well.

Threading Stories at Cass Art

From here we had a walk to Queen Street to visit Cass Art to see a group exhibition by Threading Stories Collective called ‘Threading Colours’. For this textile based exhibition each artist was assigned a colour to build their artworks around.

The walking group is funded by The National Lottery Community Fund.
