We are excited to announce that the Co-operative Foundation and Yorkshire Building Society Charitable Foundation have both made donations towards our Young Film Makers Equipment Fund appeal.
The Co-operative Foundation has donated £800 for two ipads, which have already been put to great use in our workshops, and Yorkshire Building Society Charitable Foundation a huge £1500 for an Apple MacBook Pro.
This bring us to £2383 – 31% of our £7500 target. This is a great start, but we still need help to reach our total and to make our film making programme more accessible to children and young people of all ages and abilities.
Below is a reminder of what we still need to buy to complete the upgrade:
– One broadcast quality video camera Canon XF100 High Definition Professional Camcorder (£2500)
– One Apple Macbook Pro laptop (£1500)
– Dragonframe professional animation stop motion software (£200)
– Two ipads for our younger filmmakers (£400 each)
