This holiday season, Project Ability is celebrating our beloved pets with a special fundraising exhibition dedicated to pet portraits! We’re inviting you to send us a photograph of your pet, which will be shared with our artists as inspiration for them to interpret in their own unique styles. From pen and pencil drawings to prints and paintings, our artists will interpret your photographs and transform them into one-of-a-kind artworks.
Alongside portraits inspired by photographs submitted by the public, our artists will also be creating their own pet portraits, resulting in a varied and joyful collection of animals and artistic interpretations. Whether it’s a much-loved dog, a beloved cat, an adored rabbit, or another cherished companion, we want to celebrate the special place pets hold in our lives. Because pets aren’t just for Christmas — but a pet portrait makes a pretty great Christmas present! The finished artworks will be available to buy as part of our X-mas fundraising exhibition, with proceeds supporting the work and programmes of Project Ability.
Want to see your pet become a work of art? Send us your favourite photograph and you could see your companion reimagined by one of our talented artists. It’s a chance to celebrate a much-loved pet, support Project Ability, and perhaps find a very special Christmas gift for yourself or someone you love.
