Slow Summits – Duncan Gray & Scott Smith

Mono Slow Summits - Duncan Gray Scott Smith

Project Ability’s annual MONO exhibition will feature work by Aspire artists Duncan Gray and Scott Smith.

Duncan’s paintings resemble a slow-motion spanning of the world’s most inaccessible peaks with luminous mountain tops, in a mixture brand-new white and earthy tones. Scott’s work is a world of grey, steel coloured backgrounds that house monumental shapes that depict boats, people, objects and animals – the oddest mix of the theatrical and playful. The two artists unique styles and execution slowly give way to abstractions that drift from the landscapes and figures they represent.

The exhibition will open for the Pastels who will be playing a set of songs from their new album Slow Summits.

Opening: Saturday 07 December, 7pm
08 December – 06 January
